What do air conditioning and heating do?

The air conditioning removes heat and moisture from the air in the cabin. An air conditioning compressor circulates the refrigerant through the system. Refrigerant is the substance the air conditioner uses to remove heat.

The heater provides warm air. The ventilation distributes the air through the cabin and to the windows. Various components work together to do this. Which components you need depends on the system in your truck.

Why are air conditioning and heating important?

A pleasant temperature makes driving more comfortable. Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning also help to clear fogged windows. Good visibility is important while driving.
